Owner & Founder
Ryan Schroder is the founder and owner of Fuze Real Estate. Real estate has been his passion for his entire career, and it has taken him on a fun and unpredictable ride. He got his start as an assistant to his father, a local business broker, where he learned the brokerage business and the fundamentals of investing. He then moved into hotel brokerage, which raised the stakes and deepened his understanding of investment real estate.
In 2010, in the middle of a down economy, Ryan and Goran Vejzovic launched a property management company called Vejzovic Schroder Management. They quickly renamed it VSM Real Estate, and today it is known as Fuze Real Estate. Starting a business in that climate looked crazy to some, but Ryan saw it as the perfect time to build. In the early years, they helped hundreds of Twin Cities homeowners find whatever solution fit their situation, whether that meant renting, selling, or buying their property directly.
As the company grew, so did its services. Ryan brought construction in house under Construction Pros and built Fuze into a vertically integrated firm that combines property management, brokerage, and renovation under one roof. That fusion of services is where the Fuze name comes from. Today the company manages more than 500 units and over $125M in real estate assets across single-family, multifamily, and HOA properties.
Sixteen years in, Ryan is still driven by the same thing that first drew him to real estate. It never stops changing, and he gets to adapt and grow with it. Lately that has meant reimagining how a real estate company operates, investing in technology and systems that make the business faster and more transparent for the owners he serves. When he is not working, Ryan enjoys outdoor sports and cars.
